Part Number: TMS320F28335
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

hi,

I have old project, which I have to build now, so looking for compiler to build the project.

under .ccpproject file , codegenToolversion value = "5.2.3",  If my understanding is correct, it seems C2000 V5.2.3 compiler is used.

But I cant see this compiler anywhere , not even online,

Guide me which CCS version and which Compiler version should I use to build this old project?

Thanks in advance

  • Hi Anju,

You should be able to migrate your project to the latest toolchain available for CCS. It comes with an updated compiler that should allow you to build your application. Have you given this a try? Any specific reason to stay using the mentioned version?

For future reference, all supported compiler versions can be viewed at this site: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/C2000-CGT

  • Trying to build but always failing......

For reference can check build logs below:

  • Anju,

In the future, please don't post code or error message in the thread unless requested. It clutters the thread and makes it difficult to read. If you want to share the console log please do so as an attached file.

As far as issues, it is not regarding the compiler. i do believe it has to do with the paths to the specified files in your image with the errors. Please ensure the paths to referenced files and libraries can be resolved.

Can you confirm which version of C2000Ware you are using?

    Regards,

    Ozino
