Hi, every experts

      I am interested in the application of F28P55x in the field of energy storage system(ESS).

      Recently, TI released a reference design(tida_010955) for Arc fault detection, which is specially designed for photovoltaic systems.

      So questions:

              1.Can the existing models or tools be used for arc fault detection in energy storage systems?

              2.Does TI have any plans to launch similar reference designs for energy storage systems?

    Hello Kian

    The release solution can detect the arc fault in ESS as well. All you need to do is collect the data at your setup, train the model and deploy in the firmware available in the SDK. The steps are detailed in the userguide.
