Install a newer version of the CCS 4.2.3 or CCS 4.2.4 and discovered a problem in the window Disassemblyassembly instructions are not observed as before, but ". Word 0xXXXX", where XXXX - the type of team. (Shown in the figure)
Also associated with this, the lack of opportunities to debug the program step by step (button F6, F5). When you press the button there is an effect as clicking on F8. At the breakpoint stops. Does not depend on debugging in RAM or Flash.
What should be done to make it a normal window Disassembly?
It does not depend on the compiler (CGT), not from the device JTAG.
Code Generation Tools I checked for this purpose: v5.2.10, v6.0.0.B1, v6.0.1
JTAG: BH-USB-2000
I tried to attempt to create a new project in the CCS. similar result.
Earlier on this computer was no such problem. and running Windows 7
It is a CCS 4.2. bug.
There is a reply from "Lisa TI" in this discussion and a zip-file with the missing Visual Studio dll's. Just follow Lisa's description and the disassembly window will work again. At least it did in my case of a couple of XP-based machines in my laboratory.
