Hello,

I'm trying to lock the CSM to block JTAG connections on the 28335 with Uniflash.

However, whenever I enter a key and click "Program Passord", my chip gets bricked (tried with 2 different ones).

I systematically get the following error when attempting any operation, even "Unlock":

I'm using the XDS110 JTAG probe and UniFlash 9.0.0.5086.

Would anybody have any idea to why this happens?

Hello, this is most likely due to ECSL protection. When you've programmed custom passwords, you need to select a particular boot mode to allow you to connect to the device and perform an ECSL unlock.

Thanks for the tip I changed the boot mode to "Branch to check boot mode" and was able to unlock the chip.
