The user uses F2800137 I2C target mode.
The user wonders the bit I2CSTR.BB (Bus busy) status and how it changes while a STOP is missing but the following START is detected?
Will it keep 1 always?

Apologies that we didn't get a response here sooner.
I am including a screenshot from (https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sprug76b/sprug76b.pdf) that describes the I2C START/STOP conditions
Note the second to last sentence. When the BB bit is set to 1 and STT bit is set to 1, a repeated START condition is generated.
Does this help clarify the BB bit function?
