TMS320F28388D: What are the requirements for 100 Mbps operation for Ethernet ?

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Tool/software:

Hello TI Support Team,

I am currently working with the Ethernet examples provided in the TI folder and aim to operate at 100 Mbps. I have configured SYSPLLRAWCLK to 100 MHz, which is necessary for this operation. However, after loading a dummy model on CPU1 for 100 MHz clock configuration and clock source as SYSPLLRAWCLK for Ethernet Clock with ETHDIV value as 1 , and running the example on CM, the green LED does not light up, indicating it is defaulting to 10 Mbps instead.

Could you please guide me on how to properly configure the system to achieve 100 Mbps operation ?

Additionally, I would like to understand the default clock selection when using the cofig_ethernet function. It appears to default to an external clock source. Is this correct ?

I would appreciate it if you could provide me with tested steps or any insights to successfully achieve 100 Mbps operation and see the green LED light up as expected.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,
Aditya
