I am using TMS320F28035 uC. In TRM, it says that "A clock is required, however, to modify the digital inputs that control the DAC". I do not see any timing diagrams for how a value will be written to DACVAL register and what clock is used for the same? Is it same as ADC clock? How many clock cycles does it take from the time DACVAL assignment happens in code to the time DACVAL gets a new value, and to the time DAC analog output is updated? I see some plots for DAC settling times in datasheet, but would like to know if that includes clock cycles required for DACVAL update?
