How do I initialize the BQ79600EVM (to BQ79718EVM) with the TMS320F28P65x, particularly for the initial wake-up? Does anyone have code examples for the TMS320F28P65x?

I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

    Hello,

    For setting up the EVM you can refer to the EVM User's Guide (link). In particular, you should refer to the J4 pin descriptions in order to connect an MCU to the BQ79600 EVM.

    We do not have sample code for the TMS320, only the TMS570. That sample code can be found here. I am not familiar with the similarities or differences between the devices and cannot comment on how different the code would be for the TMS320. However, the TMS320 would have to use SPI or UART functionalities to use the communication protocol described in section 7.3.2 of the datasheet (link).
