TMS320F28379D: SysConfig for inputxbar

Part Number: TMS320F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG, C2000WARE

Tool/software:

Dear TI,

Hello,

I have a project using SysConfig, but I could not determine the version of SysConfig in my project. However, I know that the project uses C2000Ware_3_04_00_00.

Is it normal not to configure the GPIO when assigning it in the InputXbar section of SysConfig?

I selected InputXbar9 with eCAP and specified the GPIO33 in the same section. However, when I tried to set GPIO33 as an input in SysConfig in GPIO section, I could not find GPIO33.

Could you please provide clarification on this issue?

Best regards,

  • Hello,

One general recommendation is to have the latest versions for CCS/sysconfig or any TI tools. Please update to latest c2000ware_4.03.00.00 along with sysconfig 1.22+.

Regarding sysconfig version identification for your project follow this:

right click on your project/example --> properties --> General --> products --> sysconfig 1.21 version. You can modify if required.

Please refer example 2 for another device for your GPIO --> Input Xbar --> ECAP sysconfig usecase.  (C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_5_04_00_00\driverlib\f28p65x\examples\c28x\ecap)

this configuration can be applied to F28379x aswell.

  • Uttama,

    Thank you for your answer.

Could we use the same files for the F28P65x with the 28379D, with some migration? I noticed that all the peripherals have a SysConfig file, which is not the case for the 28377D DSP.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hi S.T,

To answer your original question, the numbers you were seeing were the pin numbers, not GPIO numbers. You can enable viewing of the GPIO numbers or pin numbers in the preferences and actions menu in the top right of the SysConfig GUI.

    Thank you,

    Luke
