TMS320F2800157-Q1: Issue of TIDM02012 testing

Part Number: TMS320F2800157-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

My client is testing TIDM02012 on their own board for compressor application.

1. The pole of the RC filter circuit for motor phase voltage sampling is 283.886. But if client set pole value in the code as 283.886, he will meet the overcurrent issue. If the client set the pole value in the code as 190, there will be no overcurrent issue. Why is the system stable when the pole value set in the code is very different from the actual pole value?

2. When the compressor is started directly from a stationary state in a closed loop with a heavy load, it will repeatedly switch between forced angle and rotation before entering stable operation. Any suggestions for compressor starting with heavy load?

3. When the compressor speed is lower than 100Hz, the speed fluctuates greatly. If the speed is further reduced, the compressor will enter an unstable state (motor out of control)。 Any suggestions for Low speed operation?

Thanks,

Leo
