TMS320F280039C: Variable optimized

I have define a varialbe "Version" with DATA_SECTION:

The ".version_text" has been defined in cmd file:

But the variable "Version" still be optimized.

The compiler version is TI v22.6.1.LTS.

How can I keep the Version not be optimized?

Hi Alice,

Thank you for your question. If you want to keep this data section and not have the compiler remove it, you should use the RETAIN pragma in addition.
