I would like to use the F28P650SH6PTP, but I have a few questions and would appreciate your clarification:

  1. Has this product been used by other customers in power electronics applications and reached mass production?
  2. Does the USB support HOST mode, meaning that when a USB flash drive is inserted, it can read the data stored on the drive?

    Hi Sky,

              F28P650SH6PTP has been fully released to production and it is widely used by customers in power electronics.  As for the other question, the USB supports host mode and there is an application example that is available in C2000Ware that illustrates how this is used.  The example is located in C2000Ware\driverlib\f28p65x\examples\c28x\usb\usb_ex7_host_msc.  The example runs off the bat with the TMDSCNCD28P65X Control Card where the USB Interface is available.
