F29H850TU: How to route a peripheral interrupt to CPU3 on F29 device

Part Number: F29H850TU
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software:

Hello,

could you please guide me through the steps needed to route a peripheral interrupt to CPU3?

I am setting Input X-BAR to cause an INTX when an edge appears on GPIO0.

GPIO and X-BAR setting is done using CPU1 and interrupt setting is done using CPU3 but I see no results as of now.

Regards, Dmitri

  • Hi Dmitri,

Assuming that the interrupt trigger is using CPU1 and interrupt execution is using CPU3, you can configure interrupts using SysConfig and enable interrupts at the CPU level (using 'ENINT') and at the PIPE level (Interrupt_enableGlobal()) in the beginning of your application code for CPU3. You can verify this information is as expected in the CPU3 PIPE registers. Please refer to the IPC example for how interrupts are configured and used across CPUs as well.

If you are still seeing no results, ensure that the interrupt is being triggered properly (via CPU1) and then once that is good, double check the PIPE configurations that allow interrupts to propagate to the CPU.

    Best Regards,

    Aishwarya
