C2000WARE: Unable to Download TI Wave in C2000Ware

Part Number: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

I am currently working with the TI LaunchPad F28379D and need to use TI Wave for motor control analysis. However, I am unable to download it due to an "Access Denied" error, even though I have registered and logged in using my .edu email address. I would appreciate your support in resolving this issue. Is there an alternative way to access TI Wave through C2000Ware or Code Composer Studio?  I need C2000wave to version 4.00.300 for used in Matlab 2023b

  • Hi Nguyen,

Can you provide the link you are using to make the access request for this tool?

    Regards,

    Peter

  • Hi Nguyen,

I see the C2000Ware link but what is the TI Wave software you are referring to? Can you post the directory required to get to the TI Wave software in the C2000Ware SDK? For motor control, it is more advantageous to use the C2000WARE MotorControl SDK to get access to all of our motor control reference designs

    Regards,

    Peter

  • I am working on BLDC motor control using FOC/SVM on TI C2000 (F28379D) LaunchPad with MATLAB/Simulink. Is TI Wave necessary for this workflow? Also, does C2000Ware MotorControl SDK provide Simulink-compatible examples?

  • Hi Nguyen,

So this TI Wave is a software that is built into Simulink? If so, it would be better to directly contact MATLAB and MathWorks for support with this issue, since they directly maintain the Simulink environment for our C2000 devices.

We have released a few Simulink models for motor control solutions but these primarily target our newer devices like F280013x family

    Regards,

    Peter
