It doesn't allow me to put an image here, but it says "Error connecting to the target: (Error -1042@0xFFFFFF49) The debug probe reported an error. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 9.9.0.00040)".

Every time it occurs, the error number might be different.

is it possible that the flash is locked for some security reason? it is an old products we have been selling, but recently, the probe - FlashPro 2000 is broken and our manufacturer is trying an alternative.

Based on the emulator pack version, it sounds like you are using an older version of the tools. 

In regards to the error, it is detailed in the section called "the emulator reported an error" in the below document:

Please try the suggestions mention in that document.

The message is from our manufacturer, and I believe they are using UniFlash with XDS100v2. I tried with slightly different error number, but basically not working neither.

Can you provide the error message/error number you are getting instead for comparison?

Can you also provide the version of UniFlash you are using? It might be worthwhile to try the latest version v9.1.0 if you are not using that version. (https://www.ti.com/tool/download/UNIFLASH)
