TMS320F280039C-Q1: Fapi_initializeAPI() frequency mismatch

Hi experts,

Good day! I am asking for customer. My customer is using F280039 and CPU frequency is set as 120MHz. But when he used Fapi_initializeAPI() function, he incorrectly wrote the second argument "u32HclkFrequency" with 100.

I have checked with flashapi document and noticed "if there is a mismatch between the internal hard coded value and the user provided value, a warning is returned to the user even though the initialization steps still take place normally." I want to know besides this warning, will it have additional risks to the operation/use of this code?

Kita,

If there is a mismatch between the two values, normally the only side effect is that performing flash operations will take longer. In extreme cases (if it is set very low or too high) the mismatch can impact the timing of the flash operations and cause misses or other undefined behavior.

thanks for the reply! The customer also wants to know what is u32HclkFrequency used for in this Fapi_initializeAPI() function? Is it used for flash api frequency configuration?
