Tool/software:

I am trying to build the assembly files which is having ".dwcfa " directive.  I have used TMS320C2812 family and Compiler v18.1.0.LTS. while build am facing the error like below.

 [E0002] Invalid mnemonic specification .dwcfa

please provide me a Soultion for this.

    All the directives that begin .dw are related to Dwarf debug information.  For current documentation, please search the C28x assembly tools manual for the appendix titled Symbolic Debugging Directives.  Please note this sentence.

    These directives are not meant for use by assembly-language programmers.

    The directive .dwcfa does not appear.  Support for that particular Dwarf debug directive ended more than 10 years ago.

    I can't think of a solution.  How did this assembly file come to have an old Dwarf debug directive in it?
