LAUNCHXL-F28379D: J19/J20 Differential Amplifier

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am trying to record the signal from my torque sensor which has a signal range of -5V to +5V. As I have read, the launch board has a differential amplifier that can process this signal and send it to ADCIND4 and ADCIND5.

Since the board can only handle 3.3V, do I need to rescale the outputs of the torque sensor to -3.3V to +3.3V? It seems that these ADCs are single ended and not differential ended (because of one signal per ADCIN). Does the configuration of the ADC block need to be set to single ended singnal?

Thank you and best regards
