Hi Champ,

My customer use 1 pcs F28P55 as CAN bridge. MCANA receive data from one CAN bus (about 30 nodes), then use MCANB to transmit the data to the other CAN bus. They hope that the time from receiving to sending is as short as possible, so as soon as MCANA receives a message, B sends it out immediately. Ideally, we hope to achieve the function by DMA.

I want to check below questions with you.

1. Do you think DMA is a faster method compared to using CPU?

2.Could you please help share demo code with similar function? If we don't have, which code in C2000 ware you suggest us to refer to?

    Hi Fengyu,

    We don't have DMA example for CAN receive or transmit. There is no hardware DMA trigger from MCAN. If using DMA, you need to trigger the transfer manually. I don't see the advantage of using DMA to transfer data from CAN registers.
