Hello,
Is there any way you can make the I2S interface on the F28069?
I heard you can do it with McBSP. I want to interface it with TAS5717, which support i2s only.
Please advise.

Piotr,
1. Yes, you can use the McBSP. For an example of how to do this with McBSP (I2S) - DMA on 2833x devices, see SPRAAJ2: http://www.ti.com/mcu/docs/litabsmultiplefilelist.tsp?sectionId=96&tabId=1502&literatureNumber=spraaj2&docCategoryId=1&familyId=1414 It is an app note on interfacing to AIC23B audio codec, but the McBSP code setup should be similar.
2. Using 2 SPI's on the device configured for slave mode and SPISTE inversion feature on one of the SPI's, you can also use the SPI's to RX I2S data (one SPI for L-channel data and the other SPI for R-channel data).
Hi,
Does that AIC23 example work also with 2812 device, or was there some difference with the external clock signals in slave mode in 2812 McBSP? Also can the DSP mode used with multi-channel DAC's like PCM1690/PCM1691 (www.ti.com/product/pcm1691) that support TDM mode (would like to use I2S at the same time to input audio and use the F2812 as DSP for active crossover for multi-driver speakers)?
