Daniel,
You can plug the CC3301 onto the LP.

It is a companion device that has Wifi and BLE capabilities.

Dear Jason,
Are you refering to the LP-EM-CC35X1 or the BP-CC3301MOD?
Thanks in advance!
Daniel
Daniel - I grabbed the wrong link!
https://www.ti.com/tool/BP-CC3301MOD
The CC35X1 is a stand alone MCU. This would work as well, but you would need to write firmware for both devices.

I got it. This means that BP-CC3301MOD can be directly connected to the LAUNCHXL-F28P55X? Does the LAUNCHXL-F28P55X has enough hardware requirements (e.g. RAM) for that?
It would fit, however after looking into it a bit more, a lot of the resources would be consumed. Its about 100K of RAM and 500KB of flash for the CC33 implementation. The CC35 will work as well and its an independent processor with its own flash and ram resources.
We have a UART over Wifi examples available for the CC35X to help you get going easy.

In this sense, the LP-EM-CC35X1 suits better our needs. Is this board really working? The website says it is prototype evaluation module.
Daniel,
Correct. We are getting ready to update that module to production. You can find the BLE only module here:
https://www.ti.com/tool/LP-EM-CC2745R10-Q1
You will also want to get an XDS110 to plug into that evm:
https://www.ti.com/tool/LP-XDS110
This should get you started with BLE only until the combo device is ready.
