BOOSTXL-POSMGR: Confirming no resolver support

I saw in the schematics and some other document support for a resolver on the BOOSTXL-POSMGR.  The schematics for example show Sin/Cos outputs, and ExIn input.  It also shows a 15V supply to the ExOut circuit, and it seems like the 15V supply could be connected to J16.  

Reading on the other posts, it seems like this cannot be used.  For example:

...but that is an older post. 

Can you confirm the support situation?  It seems like the hardware is there if I'm willing to develop the software.
