HRPWM Auto-Conversion Mode

Due to register "HRMSTEP" will be used in Auto-Conversion mode.

But refer to page#18 & 19 in ePWM reference guide. Register "HRMSTEP" only exist in the ePWM1 register space.

So, Does it mean Auto-Conversion Mode support ePWM1 only ?

  • No.All of the HRPWM calibration registers are located in the ePWM 1 register space. The HRPWM calibration logic is a separate block which applies to ALL of the ePWM modules.  Although the registers themselves are located in the ePWM1 space, the HRPWM calibration logic applies to any of the ePWM's for which HRPWM is enabled.
