TMS320F28035: Are there any precautions in reflow welding production

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Tool/software:

Are there any precautions in reflow welding production about DSP?

Some DSPS use unflash to write programs longer than the normal write time, and after writing, it takes a long time to power on and establish communication. After replacing the new DSP, everything is normal, and the problem goes with the problem chip. We suspect damage in the production process

  • Hui,

I am un-aware of any precautions regarding soldier reflow and flash stability.

I would advise that the flash parameters/electricals from the DS spell out the max times for the different flash operations on the device.  Are you seeing timings that are within the range in the table below, or seeing something outside this spec?

    Best,

    Matthew
