Specifically, we would appreciate your guidance and confirmation on the following:

Recommended version of Code Composer Studio (CCS)
Compatible and recommended C2000 compiler version
Any additional tools or components required (e.g.,
- C2000Ware version
- SysConfig tool compatibility
- ControlSUITE (if applicable)
- Debugger or flash tools
Any known issues or considerations with recent IDE/compiler versions that we should be aware of for stable development

Hello Team,

We are following up on our earlier query regarding the recommended development environment for firmware development on the TMS320F28377D microcontroller (currently we're using LAUNCHXL-F28379D development board for our activities). We have set up our development environment with the following versions:

Code Composer Studio (CCS): Version 20.1.1.8__1.7.1
Compiler: TI v22.6.1.LTS (CCS - TI Compiler (MSP,C2000,Arm))
C2000Ware: Version 5.4.0.00
SysConfig Tool: Version 1.23.0

We would greatly appreciate it if you could review the above and let us know if these versions are fully compatible and recommended for our application, Since, we are going ahead with this.

Do let us know If you identify any potential issues or have alternative recommendations for stability and long-term support, we would be glad to consider them.

These are all acceptable. We will generally recommend to use the latest version for all of our tools.

Also I would like to point you to the C2000 Motor Control SDK: https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK

There are many examples here, using helpful libraries for common functions such as PI controllers, clarke, and park transforms.

Hi,

We don't have any dual core motor examples, since motor control can typically be done with a single core. Often the second core is used for communication and housekeeping tasks.
