Does the IPCore ESC on the F28388D micro support emulated EEPROM functionality? I would like to make it so that the EEPROM is programmed as part of flashing the micro and have been unable to determine if this is a supported feature on this chip. If anyone has this information please advise.

After looking into solutions for the emulated ESC EEPROM some additional questions arose.
1. When looking for the ETHERCATCTL register in the F2838x user guide to change the I2C MUX to loop internal. It appears that there is only a lock for this register shown in the guide, not the register itself. Could you clarify if this register exists on the chip?
2. For our implementation, we are allocating the ESC peripheral to the CM. Does the CM also have an I2C mux to loop the ESC traffic internal?

It seems the register is not documented in F2838x TRM, but it should still be there. Submitted a ticket to update our 38x TRM.
Can use below function or similar.
