TMS320F2800157: Inquiry Regarding Splitting .bss and Other Sections Across Multiple RAM Locations

Part Number: TMS320F2800157

Tool/software:

Hi experts,

My customer have encountered an issue with insufficient RAM space. Previously, they used the > operator for entire segment allocation. To address this, they have now adopted the >> operator to split the .bss section into two custom RAM locations. We would like to seek clarification on the following points:

  1. Will splitting the .bss section, which stores uninitialized data, have any impact on functionality or performance?
  2. Is it permissible to split other sections, such as ramfunc, across multiple RAM locations
