TMS320F2812: SO# 365397 - Some parts can not be programmed...?

Thanks for reaching out to us on E2E; as you mentioned this is a very high failure rate for these devices; especially failing to program flash at time 0 is not typical.

I did some checking, and there are not any known issues with recent material, either for flash or in general.  All devices are tested before leaving our factory, so we should see no failures on first time devices.

If customer or you are interested we could submit some of the failures back to TI for analysis; we can look for any abnormalities that would indicate the device has flash issues, in addition to the usual checks, etc.

Let me know if you or the customer is interested, I can find the process to submit back to TI and post here.

many thanks for the suggestion. Yes, the customer confirmed that they would like to return some parts for analysis, if possible.

How many would you need returned?

I guess since we are the customer's distributor, we need the parts to be sent back via us requesting a FA from our side for these parts?
