You mean emulation mode ? Have you set the boot mode correctly ? If in emulation mode you can use scripts menu icon and set the emulation boot mode or in standalone boot mode use boot mode pins.

What do you mean by RAM/flash detection ? Can you point us to the test under the diagnostic library that you are referring to ?
