TMS320F28027: how to extend the memory maps of controller

Tool/software:

we are using TMS controller, and this attached image is the CMD file for the same.

we are getting error in memory, how to extend the memory of controller memory maps.

Hi Ramya,

The .text section does not have enough space to accommodate the data in it. please add more LS RAMs to accommodate the additional data. Please have a look at the map file generated and check the additional space required. Either you can take more space from DRAML0 by increasing the length of PRAML0 and updating the length of PRAML0 and shifting the start address of DRAML0.

thanks for information we have tired by updating the PRAML0 address and shift that to start address of DRAML0 it worked.

But we can't able find the option LS RAM update. we want to try that as well can you provide more information on that.

Hi Ramya,

i meant to increase the PRAMLS0 size length and shift the DRAML0 start and length parameter.

eg:

PRAML0 : origin = 0x80000 , length = 0x000A00

DRAML0 : origin = 0x80A00 , length = 0x000500

Something like this.
