Hi to all!

About the maximum clock frequency oh a Delfino-uC, data sheet: Frequency, device (system) clock MIN 2 MAX 200 MHz

Ok, there is a maximum of 200 MHz and there is no additional data regarding temperature/frequency.

I use a 10 MHz crystal and a PLL multiplier 20. When I set the multiplier to 20.5 the uC (the one on my desk) still works. But how about the specs for all? How about the temperature?

    The uC was spec'd for max 200Mhz which means the chip is guaranteed to work in this range across temp conditions given in datasheet. This doesnt mean that the uC will absolutely stop working outside this range but our advise is to stay within the given range in datasheet, device working outside of this range under different conditions is not guaranteed.

  • That's what I said. There are no specifications about temperature and max clock frequency. Well, at 200 MHz everything will work under all conditions (lowest supply voltage, warmer temperatures).

    But what happens with internal supply voltage of 1.25V or 1.3V? Or at low temperature? Are there any test results?

  • As I said above, 200Mhz is the max frequency across all operating conditions (within min-max of all voltages, temperatures etc) as defined in datasheet.

    We don't guarantee operation on MCU outside of the limits specified in the datasheet.
