F29H85X-SOM-EVM: Flash Programming of CPU3

I am trying to define the memory and section layout in the linker command file, specifically focusing on how the flash read interfaces are mapped when swap mode is disabled, bank mode -flash banks are allocated to both CPU1 and CPU3. How to configure the SECCFG registers for bank mode.

Thanks for posting! To level set on the information, are you writing your own custom SW or are you loading an existing multicore project from the F29x SDK? Can you please provide more information on what project you are using?

The BANKMODE register within the SSU GEN REGS is what is used to configure the bank mode.

You can also change bank modes when connected to CPU1 via debugger in CCS by right clicking on CPU1 and selecting properties, category -> Flash settings, bank mode -> 2, press 'Program BANKMGMT'. See example below:

Hi Marlyn,

I’m still encountering an error while loading the program at address 0x10400000. I changed the bank mode to 2, clicked on the Program BNKMGMT button, then reset the controller and loaded the program again.

Can you please walk me through the steps you used to load the program? Also, to confirm, you didn't make any changes to the example project, correct?

I have verified status of bank management in registers window after reset, to check weather it is updated to bank mode 2 or not .
