LAUNCHXL-F2800137: F2800137PM

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F2800137

Tool/software:

Hi,

We are using F2800137PM for one of our application. I need some clarification on VDD. VDD pin which is typical 1.2V. I want to know if we need to externally supply power or if it is internally generated in chip. I am referring reference design https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruj32/spruj32.pdf. In this design, I am not able to find any power source for VDD. So is it internally generated?

Also, i want to know about unused analog pins Ax/Cy how they need to be terminated.

Regards

Narendra Singh

  • Hi Narenda,

Yes, the part no. that you specified only supports internal voltage generation for the 1.2 V VDD rail. If you would like to use external voltage, you will need to use a package that has the VREGENZ pin (such as the VPM package) and then tie that pin to VDDIO in order to use an external supply
