TMS320F28377S: What will happen when click "Yes" when CCS report Error -1156

Hi Champs,

Now my customer find some of their peripherals are not working in stand alone mode, such as SCI, customer try to power on and off and it doesn't work. Then I suggest them to use CCS re-load the code, and when they debugging they received below error. After clicking "YES", customer find that the device can work well now.

So customer would like to know what will CCS do to F28377S after clicking "YES"? Will it  reload some file or reset some memory? Could you help to check this?

    JTAG debug probe will try to bring the device out of low power mode, as said in the error message.

    Just because they were able to connect after doing this does not mean that the device was actually in low power mode. It is possible that if connection fails for some reason, that it will be a successful connection by simply trying again.

    Yes I agree with this. Now customer's requirement is to find why the connection fail and why click "yes" can solve this. They want to know how CCS attempts to take the device out of low power mode after clicking 'yes', and what specific actions will CCS do to the device. Thanks!

    Is this a consistent problem for the customer? Does this happen every time they try to connect? 

    If this has only happened once, or this happens only occasionally, it can be hard to diagnose. Many environmental and PCB factors can cause a bad connection.
