Tool/software:
My company would like to use field loadable software for an aerospace DAL A application both for the Hercules and C2000 microcontroller families. Since field loadability is a requirement we would like to use the flash API, however if we wish to use third-party software, supplier oversight must be performed, or we would need to perform the development activities to ensure safe and correct operation ourselves.
My question regarding this would be:
- Could TI provide information on compliance to DO-178C DAL A for the usage of flash API?
- If not, could TI provide the source code for the flash API so that my company can use it for a DAL A development? Alternatively or even better together with the flash API source code could TI provide documentation on how to implement the flash erase / write instructions (e.g.: flash wrapper registers, memory addresses, etc.) so that my company can design and implement a flash driver for our application?
