Hi team,

My customer doesn't want to use PFC as their design. They added a film capacitor to the front-end VBUS to improve the power factor to 0.93. But the THD cannot meet the requirement. Can the DC/AC algorithm in this reference design improve the THD? Because some academic papers have control methods that can improve THD.

Apologies for the delay in response. Clarifying question- when you say that the customer does not want to use PFC, what algorithms are you referring to in the code after that, exactly?

I mean is DC/AC control method or others can improve THD algorithms on DC/AC topology.

After double-checking with a colleague, it looks like we don't have any reference designs with that kind of algorithm, unfortunately.
