TIDM-1000: TI Designs: TIDM-1000, what are ”ZRO CLR“,"CAU SET" , and "CAD TGL"?

Part Number: TIDM-1000

Tool/software:

In the reference design "TI Designs: TIDM-1000", what do ”ZRO CLR“,"CAU SET" , and  "CAD TGL" stand for? Thanks.

  • Hi user,

ZRO CLR, CAU SET, CAD TGL,  refer to the PWM actions that occur on ZRO event, Counter Compare A up/down event.

ZRO CLR: Stands for "clear the PWM" on a ZRO event. Basically when the TBCTR reaches 0, set the PWM low (0V).

CAU SET: Stands for set the PWM output high on a counter compare A up event.

CAD TGL: Stands for toggle the PWM output on a counter compare A down event.

    Best regards,

    Ryan Ma
