TMS320F280039C: Total output current of all GPIO pins

Hi Champ,

My customer use some GPIO pins to driver external device. I know from datasheet that each GPIO have 4mA source current limitation shown as below. 

Some GPIO pins may drive external devices at the same time. So want to check with you, is there any restriction on total output current of all GPIO pins? How much the limitation value?

    Hello, Fengyu.

    There is no limit to how many pins can be used to source the 4mA of current. All output pins are capable of the 4mA. The only bottleneck could be the power supply to the device, if the regulator to VDDIO is not capable of driving the demanded current.
