To store the MCAN message to FIFO1, the SFEC[2:0] of ID filter element has to be configured as 0x2. Please double check if SFEC bit field is programmed properly.

I have configured SFEC[2:0] to 0x2 , and SFT to 0(Range Filtering SFID1-0x4 and SFID - 0x0), transmission  ID - 0x4, Loop back mode, configured FIFO0 to accept unaccepted frames, the frame is being stored in FIFO0, Frame ID is same for both Buffer and FIFO mode but in FIFO mode frame is unaccepted.

Is SDID2 = 0 in your setup? The SPID2 should be > SPID1.

SFID1 > SFID2 is mandatory condition as per Technical reference manual.

It is not true.

For range filter, SFID2 ≥ SFID1!

It is working only when SFID2 = 0 , else cases are not working.

Can you please share your code, so I can try on my side? Are you using MCAN driver of SDK and sysconfig?

Your correct It is working fine when the SFID1 <SFID2 in Fifos.

But in buffer case the SFID2 is being zero . I used sysconfig generated code to write my code, it is in examples (interrupts).

1. which transceiver will ti recommends for MCAN as they are not providing any transceiver in MCAN.

2. When interrupts allocated to the interrupt line 0 is not working properly.

3. Why bit fields are not available for MCAN in f29h85x sdk.
