TMS320F2811: Fake TI DSP

Dear Community, i am suspecting that the DSP is fake mcu ordered from Aliexpress, it doesn’t work at all it is second one ,could anyone confirm this suspicion?

Hi, can you be more specific and explain what is meant by "it doesn;t work"? Initial inspection of the top symbol looks OK.

Hi Joe sorry for late response , i figured out that couple of those DSPs has a short between 3,3v power supply and GND ,measurements showing me 10ohms, but still not sure if is fake TI or not maybe it has only production failure.,but if you say the Symbol logo of dsp looks ok must be so .

Sure no problem, I'm glad you found the issue. To be clear, the symbol does look fine and the lot trace code is valid. Of course, a nefarious actor could mimic a valid symbol. If you have strong reason to believe devices counterfeit we can discuss next steps.
