Hi,

Can you clarify what you mean by attaching CM core? What do you mean to debug the core without loading program?

Attaching the CM core means using XDS1000 or XDS110 to connect with the CM core without resetting the CM core.

We just want to read the global variables. We need to load the symbols.

We found one ticket that said to remove all gel in the target configuration file, then launch. It works for CM core, but then connect CPU2, it still happens to reset.

Hi,

Thank you clarify. So assume that you are booting through external boot mode or flash and you just want to be able to view all device registers through JTAG without reloading the code. I will need to test this on CM core myself, please help to link the ticket that you are referring to and I will experiment with this
