Any suggestions how we can prevent de-compilation of our C2000 firmware (.out/.bin file or reading through JTAG) so that our proprietary code cannot be copied and reverse engineered.

Hi Rahul,

Are you familiar with the DCSM module? This is designed to prevent copying of proprietary code. We have a video tutorial series on ti.com as well as the DCSM chapter in the TRM to help you ramp.
