LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Need help implementing ethercat with EVB-LAN9252-SPI and F28379D

I'm a beginner and I want to implement a simple blinking that are controlled via ethercat master, i try to dig up some resource but the ti examples i find are for ET1100. Do i need to manually port the implementation ? or is there another way ? p.s. i already in posession of SSC

Hi,

Is there a reason that you want to use LAUNCHXL-F28379D for etherCAT?

We now have the F28p65X device which supports etherCAT without ET1100. This will result in a cheaper solution.

Well, currently the only available device are both of these so i need to make do with it

Hi,

We are unable to support LAUNCHXL-F28379D for etherCAT for new designs. The ET1100 booster pack for launchpad is an old, niche design, and we do not have anyone to support it anymore. You would need to refer to existing online resources and old E2E threads.

I highly recommend that you use F2838x or F28P65X MCUs. The F28P65X launchpad is relatively low price, and you will not need any other EVM to use etherCAT.
