Hello,

ASYSCTL block is used for configuring Reference(for ADC/DAC), Comparator Input Mux(to choose pin), Enable Temp Sensor, Enable or disable BOR for VDDIO and etc. You can refer to chapter 15 in Technical reference manual for more details. If you are using any of the above analog blocks, then it may be necessary to configure this block.
