Dear TI Support Team,

I am planning to use the TMS320F28377S device in a new project, where the goal is to generate a sinusoidal waveform using an externally connected 16-bit DAC. The waveform data will be received via SCI-B interface (SCITXDB/SCIRXDB), and the output to the DAC will be provided using the device's SPI-A pins — namely, SPISTEA, SPICLKA, and SPISIMOA.

In addition to SPI and SCI, the design will include other features such as ADC inputs, GPIOs for board configuration, JTAG for debugging, and possibly bootloader support for firmware upgrades.

To accelerate hardware development and ensure design reliability, I would greatly appreciate if you could share the latest Altium reference design files (schematic + PCB layout) for F28377S-based systems — especially ones used in LaunchPads or EVMs.

This will help us adopt proven design practices and avoid layout pitfalls during high-speed signal interfacing.

I’ve reviewed both the LAUNCHXL-F28379D and TMDSCNCD28379D hardware folders on dev.ti.com, and they indeed provide exactly what I was looking for — including Altium source files (.SchDoc, .PcbDoc), schematic PDFs, and layout data.

Although my target is TMS320F28377S or F28379S, using the F28379D-based reference designs as the starting point is perfect — especially since I plan to develop and test initially on LAUNCHXL-F28379D, which I’ve already ordered.

These references will speed up both hardware and firmware development and ensure design confidence with proven TI-tested schematics.

Appreciate the timely and valuable guidance.
