Tool/software:
Hi,
TIDM-02002 implements a bidirectional CLLLC resonant dual active bridge using C2000-based digital control.
While the flexibility of C2000 digital control is well recognized, we are interested in understanding the differences between C2000-based digital LLC/DAB control and more conventional LLC control methods (such as analog controller ICs or fixed logic-based approaches).
If available, we would appreciate any documents, comparison materials, or whitepapers that provide insight into the following aspects:
-
Flexibility in frequency and phase control
-
Optimization under light-load or no-load conditions
-
Efficiency improvements and ZVS control in DAB/CLLLC configurations
-
Adaptability to dynamic changes such as digital compensation, duty modulation, and seamless mode transition
I would like to know if there is anything else besides the reference design application notes. Even if no formal documents exist, we would also welcome any internal knowledge or guidance on these points.
Thanks,
Conor
