TMS320F28P550SJ: Serial flash utility

Dear TI Support Team,

We are currently working with the TMS320F28P550SJ controller and are looking for a suitable serial flash utility to program our application code. However, we have not been able to find any official serial utility that supports this device.

We would appreciate your guidance in identifying any off-the-shelf serial flash programming tools compatible with the TMS320F28P550SJ. We would prefer not to develop a custom flashing utility ourselves and are looking for a reliable, ready-to-use solution.

Your support in recommending a suitable tool would be greatly appreciated.

This device is compatible with off-the-shelf offering from Segger .

Hi Charles,

We are currently evaluating the compatibility of our device with Segger’s off-the-shelf offerings. Can you please confirm that , whether the device supports Serial Flash Mode, as we are not considering JTAG Boot Flash for our application.

Hello,

The TMS320F28P550SJ is only able to be programmed via JTAG with the Segger flashers.
