TMS320F280041C: flagRunIdentAndOnLine always goes to 0

I face a similar problem. I'm using F280049C with MotorControl SDK 5.04.00.00 and run lab05 motor id. The flagRunIdentAndOnLine always goes 0. I find that some TZ flags have set to 1. So I try commenting out the function HAL_setupFaults() and then everything works fine. But I don't know the actual cause. Could anyone tell me what is the actual cause ?

Hello, and apologies for the delay in response.

flagRunIdentAndOnLine is automatically set to 0 when a fault happens- generally speaking, it's a bad idea to disable the Fault functionality. This functionality exists to protect your hardware from bad runtime conditions, such as overcurrent faults.

Try reading the "flagMtrUse" expression from the same object as the flagRunIdentAndOnLine expression. This will tell you exactly what fault is happening. Please let me know what flag(s) are set in that expression.

Hi, thank you for your reply. However, now my experimental hardware has been borrowed by my colleague. So, I cannot do experiment now.
