Hi TI Experts,

I'm working with the TMS320F28P650D dual-core device and looking configure pinmux for both cores CPU1 and CPU2.

My questions are:

Do i need to create seperate sysconfig projects for CPU 1 and CPU2 ?
While creating new file there is option context which has CPU1 and CPU2 ?
Is there any option for pinmuxing for both cores in single project?

Any guidance, documentation links, or example projects would be greatly appreciated.

If you are only configuring pinmux you can just use CPU1. To my knowledge CPU2 does not have access to GPIO control registers anyways but I would consult the TRM to confirm this.

Hi Luke,

Thanks for the info regarding GPIO control—understood that GPIOs and pinmux are managed exclusively by CPU1.

Now I’m moving forward to peripheral allocation and configuration for CPU2.

I want to know how the peripherals are managed to CPU2 and how to map them to CPU2.

Any insights, recommendations, or examples would be very helpful. Thanks again for your support!
