Currently I’m using IPMSM motor(generator) as a source of for the Vienna rectifier design,

To find the actual angle (Theta) of the IPMSM for unity PF, As in my IPMSM I don’t have any sensor I’m using Ti reference SMO as below:

I’m using part of it like feeding alpha and beta of current and voltages and motor parameters (Rs and Ls):

I have some queries about it as below:

  1. I just need to know by this whether I can get actual theta value of IPMSM(generator)
  2. As I’m using IPMSM I have different range of Ld and Lq values by these how to calculate Ls
